Dear Bridgette, I just want to let you and your fellow musicians know how much we all loved your performance at the wedding this past weekend. Our guests from all over the world raved about the music and the musicians. Everything was just perfect during the cocktail hours and the reception--we didn't have to worry about a thing where the music was concerned. The selections were absolutely superb and everyone--young, old and in-between--had a great time. You all are worth your weight in gold. I am SO happy we happened upon the quartet last year at the Four Seasons and got your card. Nina and Simon's decision to add the swing orchestra at 9:00pm was brilliant-- the reception ended on such a high note we couldn't get people to leave! Bridgette, Just wanted to let you know how much everyone enjoyed the Celebrated String Quartet. They added so much to our event. It was perfect having just the quartet for the first two hours when people were chatting, but once your drummer arrived folks were ready to dance. To The Celebrated String Quartet, How does a person thank you enough for yet another superb performance by the Quartet? When you play, it's as if the Heavens open and the angels have been sent to touch one's soul. The music, the angelic singing, bring smiles to our hearts and tears to our eyes. What God given gifts you all have been granted and you share them so beautifully. You have enhanced the memory of our daughter's wedding that will be enjoyed for generations to come. From our hearts we thank you all. You choices of soloist and trumpeter were impeccable! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Planning any event with 100+ guests can be stressful at times. Yet, each time you and I had to communicate it was like a breath of fresh air, the sign of a true professional. Bless your heart! Even though Terri was our last one to be married, we hope to be calling you in the future for other events. I can't imagine a function without the Quartet! Dear CSQ, This has been my first opportunity to drop you a line to exclaim how thrilled we were with the quartet at the wedding of our daughter, Leigh. Words cannot convey how their musical expertise resonated so beautifully throughout the church. There are not many things I remember of the day; but I do remember feeling such joy as the wedding party entered to different classical masterpieces. It added such elegance to the reception as well! Unfortunately, being called all over the place on such a busy day left me not a moment to tell all of the musicians how wonderful they were and then when I finally had a chance to breathe. Please extend my apologies to them. So many people commented on how it made the church service complete hearing these beautiful instruments. Dear Bridgette, When I heard CSQ and the soloist warming up I literally clutched my heart. I wondered if I was having a hallucination! I'd be embarassed to tell you how many times I listened to the Barcarolle from a cd featuring Beverley Sills in the opera then mentally reduced the impact....no full orchestra...this is not Lincoln Center...lol. I felt pure heavenly joy from your hands and your group, the soloist(s)..rapture...and tears sprung to other's eyes as well for your giftedness resounded straight to the heart. I wish you could have a video of the bride joined by her maids playing imaginary violins during Vivaldi's winter:) We played furiously along and were swept away in the music! I feel so grateful for you arranging the Barcarolle for it was so personal to the bride, her sisters and I. Blessings to you and all for the bounty of your talents so lovingly bestowed upon each of us.
